About Katherine E. Knowles

Biography

Katherine ("Kate") Knowles, MA CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in treating swallowing dysfunction and cognitive deficits that result from acquired brain injury or other neurological damage. Kate has practiced speech therapy in the medical field in a variety of settings including skilled nursing and home health, now bringing her diverse skills to the outpatient clinic in McCall. 

Kate earned her bachelor’s degree in international studies from Loyola University Chicago, and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Portland State University. 

In her free time, Kate loves to enjoy nature, travel the world, ride bikes, and get crafty by knitting, dyeing, and sewing.
