About Joseph N. Jones

Biography

Joseph Jones, MD is a laborist at St. Luke’s Boise. 

Prior to joining the St. Luke’s team, Dr. Jones’ role as a medical director involved launching several OB hospitalist programs nationwide. His other main career focus is in minimally invasive and robotic assisted GYN surgical device innovation. 

Dr. Jones is passionate about resident education, and in addition to duties at Family Medicine Residency of Idaho holds a clinical instructor appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Riverside. 

Dr. Jones earned his bachelor's degree in peace and conflict studies from the University of California at Berkeley and attended the post-baccalaureate pre-medical program at Goucher college in Baltimore, Maryland.
