About Gregory P. Jones

Biography

Gregory Jones, MD cares for children of all ages, from newborns to teens. With decades of experience, he sees himself as responsible to his community for the overall wellness of kids in his care. While he truly enjoys every aspect general pediatrics, Dr. Jones has special interest in caring for patients with type 1 diabetes, asthma, Down syndrome, chronic medical conditions, and/or behavioral health concerns. He also cares for newborns with complex medical needs. He has extensive experience supporting hospitalized patients, in pediatrics and in the NICU. 

"I just love taking care of children," Dr. Jones says. "I'm interested in their challenges and problems. I want to position them for success as they grow." He is also passionate about educating, supporting, and empowering parents to raise their children with confidence from birth through young adulthood. He adheres to evidence-based practice and prefers a conservative approach to testing and medication.

Dr. Jones earned his bachelor's degree in zoology from Brigham Young University, with minors in chemistry and Spanish. 

In his free time, Dr. Jones enjoys being outside as much as possible. You may find him road biking, mountain biking, running, hiking, gardening, or supporting his children in their 4H projects.
