About David A. Johnson

Biography

David Johnson, LMSW specializes in working with children, teens, and in providing case management to their surrounding systems to navigate presenting concerns, identify strengths, and provide compassionate care. He collaborates with each patient to find the best approach for their needs. 

David specializes in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma using dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), collaborative proactive solutions, crisis interventions, and with the use of regular multidimensional mental health assessments. He works primarily within the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), where you can find him running therapy groups on processing trauma, building healthy relationships, and facilitating the IOP Multi-Family DBT Skills group. 

David earned his bachelor's degree in social work from Concordia University, and his master's degree in social work from George Fox University. He enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities such as camping, biking, skiing, and competitive volleyball.
