Timothy Johans, MD areas of expertise include cervical and lumbar spine surgeries, movement disorders, peripheral nerve disorders, brain tumors, and deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease and essential tremor.
Dr. Johans is a member of the American Association of Neurosurgeons, Congress of Neurosurgical Surgeons, American Pain Society, and International Association for the Study of Pain. He earned bachelor's degrees in biology and chemistry from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed his internship at the University of Kansas-Kansas City School of Medicine. He performed his general surgery and neurosurgery residencies and his neurosurgery fellowship at Oregon Health Sciences University.
