About Michael W. Foutz

Biography

Michael Foutz, MD, is a family physician at Advanced Family Medicine in Kuna and Boise, Idaho, with experience in a range of specialties and alternative forms of medicine. Dr. Foutz is dedicated to giving people of all ages exceptional preventive care and treatment for most injuries and illnesses. He works with his dedicated team to provide a range of specialty services, including newborn care, gynecology, minor surgery and sports medicine. 

Prior to his medical education, Dr. Foutz graduated with honors from Brigham Young University.

Beyond his role as a physician, he has also been an associate professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, and an assistant medical director at a hospice center. To keep up with new and informative developments in medicine, Dr. Foutz is a board member of the Ada County Medical Society. He is also a member of the Idaho Medical Association and Idaho Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. Foutz enjoys the outdoors: backpacking, camping in the summer, hunting big game in the fall, and ice fishing in the winter. He also makes time to serve in his church. He composes and records music with his family. Dr Foutz also loves to read a good book.
