About Emily L. Deer
Biography
Emily Deer, MD is a fellowship-trained radiologist with extensive experience in all areas of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic imaging, as well as a wide variety of imaging guided procedures. The interventional procedures she performs include stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI breast biopsies, as well as localizations.
Prior to her medical education, Dr. Deer earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Montana. Before joining Boise Radiology Group, she was most recently the medical director of Women's Diagnostic Services at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Sun City West, Arizona. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, as well as playing the violin.
