About Alison J. Burpee, LCSW

Alison Burpee, LCSW provides assessment and therapy for individuals, couples, and families challenged by mental health issues. Her scope of care ranges from shorter term situational/environmental challenges (grief and loss, relationship issues, adjustment disorders) to chronic and persistent mental illness (thought and/or mood disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and substance use disorders).

Alison has a background in outreach social work, school-based therapy with pediatrics and adolescents, and support around patients with co-occurring disorders. She enjoys the privilege of serving patients in a strength-based and empathic environment. Some examples of the therapies she uses are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, motivational interviewing, and behavioral modification.

Alison earned her master's degree in social work from Arizona State University. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
