About Alana J. Brunner

Biography

Alana Brunner, LCPC, NCC, CCMHC provides assessment and therapy for individuals dealing with situation stress, relationship issues, anxiety, mood disorders, and substance use. She has experience providing clinical services for patients of all ages, and has worked in private practice, inpatient psychiatric, and emergency department settings.

Alana is an adjunct professor in the Counselor Education Department at Boise State University. She teaches courses on depression, ethics and legal issues in counseling, and culturally aware counseling. She frequently speaks to groups regarding ethical issues, including boundaries in the therapeutic setting and cultural competence.

Alana earned her master's degree in counseling from Boise State University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Idaho Mental Health Counselors Association.
