About Robert T. Botkin

Biography

Robert (Tucker) Botkin, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who uses an individualized care approach based on mindfulness, compassion, and current evidence to work with those experiencing difficulties in managing their mental wellbeing. Tucker has a special interest in assisting children and adolescents to overcome adversities such as mood and thought disorders, ADHD, and histories of trauma, which may otherwise impede them from reaching their full potential.

Born and raised in the Treasure Valley, Tucker earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Boise State University and his master’s degree in advanced practice psychiatric-mental health nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. In his free time, he enjoys listening to a variety of music; playing his guitar, bass, or piano; and traveling with his wife and their four children.
