About Kari K. Benton

Biography

Kari Benton, LCSW is a behavioral health consultant, providing education to patients and families about the connection between mental and physical health. She is passionate about providing therapy services and resources to children, teenagers and families, with a focus on attachment and improving communication in family systems. Her primary modalities include play therapy, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies and solution focused therapy.

Kari earned her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in conflict resolution from California State University, Chico, before earning her master’s degree in social work.

In her free time, Kari can be found reading, swimming, and spending time with her family and their bulldogs.
