About Margaret E. Beckwith

Biography

Margaret Beckwith, MD is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) interventional physiatrist specializing in the non-surgical treatment of spine and musculoskeletal pain. She is dedicated to helping patients regain function and improve quality of life through evidence-based, minimally invasive care.

Dr. Beckwith focuses primarily on the diagnosis and treatment of spine-related conditions, including disc herniation, spinal stenosis, facet joint arthritis, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and vertebrogenic pain. She offers a range of  spine procedures.

In addition to her expertise in spine care, Dr. Beckwith provides advanced treatment options for peripheral nerve and joint pain, including temporary peripheral nerve stimulators, ultrasound guided joint and soft tissue injections, and peripheral nerve ablations.

Her practice philosophy centers on a multidisciplinary approach that integrates rehabilitative therapies, pain psychology, procedures, and collaboration with surgical and non-surgical specialists when needed. Dr. Beckwith emphasizes opioid-sparing treatments, favoring interventions that reduce reliance on long-term medication and support functional recovery.

Patients appreciate Dr. Beckwith's thoughtful, individualized care plans and her commitment to helping them achieve meaningful improvements in mobility, comfort, and daily performance.
