ALERT

Due to the overwhelming surge in COVID-19 cases and the strain it has placed on health care capacity in the communities we serve, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare has activated crisis standards of care statewide. We are open and available to see patients, but you may experience delays at our ERs, hospitals, and clinics. We appreciate your patience. Access more info on COVID testing, vaccination, visitor policy, hospitalization data, and FAQs.

About Sadie R. Ashenbrener

Biography

Sadie Ashenbrener, LCSW is a mental health therapist working with children and adolescents. She is intuitive and collaborative in her approach and uses a range of modalities including narrative therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy. She is passionate about the use of mindfulness techniques to help combat the overwhelm and anxiety many young people face today.

Sadie is playful in her approach to serious problems which helps children and adolescents engage in the counseling process. You will often hear laughter and singing coming from her office. She loves working with adolescents who identify as LGBTQA and is strengths-based and trauma-informed.

Sadie earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and her master's degree in social work, both from Portland State University. Outside of work, she loves anything that involves mountains, rivers, food, or music.
