Sadie Ashenbrener, LCSW is a mental health therapist working with children and adolescents. She is intuitive and collaborative in her approach and uses a range of modalities including narrative therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy. She is passionate about the use of mindfulness techniques to help combat the overwhelm and anxiety many young people face today.
Sadie is playful in her approach to serious problems which helps children and adolescents engage in the counseling process. You will often hear laughter and singing coming from her office. She loves working with adolescents who identify as LGBTQA and is strengths-based and trauma-informed.
Sadie earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and her master's degree in social work, both from Portland State University. Outside of work, she loves anything that involves mountains, rivers, food, or music.
