About Jordan J. Aney

Biography

Jordan Aney, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician who provides care for children from birth through adolescence.

Dr. Aney believes in partnering with families to optimize the health and development of children. He especially enjoys helping first-time parents learn to care for their newborns, promoting healthy lifestyle choices, and navigating the challenges of chronic illnesses. His special interest in asthma and allergies stems from his personal experience with severe childhood asthma.

Originally from Oregon, Dr. Aney graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Willamette University. Between undergraduate and medical school, he engaged in a research apprenticeship at the National Institutes of Health. He completed medical school and pediatric residency training at Loma Linda University, where he subsequently instructed residents and students as an assistant professor of pediatrics. He values his experiences serving on a multidisciplinary team to care for children at risk for developmental delays and staffing a medical therapy unit for children with complex medical needs.

In his free time, Dr. Aney enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, being active outdoors, and experimenting with plant-based recipes.

  • Vaccine Notice from St. Luke's Children's
All St. Luke’s general pediatric providers strongly recommend patients follow the AAP and CDC childhood vaccine schedule. Vaccinating your child is one of your best tools to protect their health.

While we do not require vaccines to be a patient in our clinics, your provider will discuss the importance of vaccines at every well check-up. We are happy to answer questions and want you to feel confident in the healthcare decisions you make for your child.
