About Amy J. Amarello


Amy Jo Amarello, PsyD is is a child psychologist and part of the Learning, Attention and Behavior (L.A.B.) evaluation program at St. Luke's Children's Center for Neurobehavioral Medicine. She provides psychological evaluation and consultation for children and adolescents struggling with developmental, learning, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Dr. Amarello specializes in diagnosis and treatment planning for children and adolescents who have a wide range of psychiatric and/or neurodevelopmental conditions, including depression, bipolar disorder, in-utero exposure to substances, and disruptive behavior disorders.

Dr. Amarello trained in clinical psychology, school psychology, and neuropsychology. She earned her doctorate degree at the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology. She completed her internship at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital and her post-doctoral fellowship at Mediplex Rehab-Camden.
