About Lacey A. Adamcik

Biography

Lacey Adamcik, LCSW specializes in exposure and response prevention (ERP) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). She also treats anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, and family relationship problems using dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), collaborative and proactive solutions, and motivational interviewing.

Lacey utilizes a strengths-based, holistic approach to practice that focuses on building a collaborative partnership with each individual and family she works with in order to facilitate each person’s unique treatment needs. She operates from a trauma-informed lens and uses the concepts of acceptance, positive regard, authenticity, mindfulness, and empathy to create a strong therapeutic alliance and growth promoting environment.

Lacey earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Idaho State University and her master’s degree in social work at Boise State University.
