Our team cares for patients of all ages, offering a wide range of expertise, from diagnosis and treatment of problems of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves), to management of trauma and fractures.

We specialize in general orthopedics; spinal surgery; hip, knee, and ankle replacements; hand surgery; foot and ankle surgery; and sports medicine, as well as surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

    Ryan K. Callahan, DO

    Orthopedic Surgery

    Biography

    Ryan Callahan, DO is the first and only foot and ankle fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon in the Magic Valley. He specializes in foot and ankle surgery related to sports injuries, arthritis, and deformity corrections. His procedure expertise includes ankle replacement, ankle arthroscopy for cartilage restoration and repair, flat foot reconstruction, Charcot reconstruction, and amputation. He also treats traumatic and degenerative orthopedic conditions involving the upper and lower extremities.

    Dr. Callahan earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University.

  • Justin M. Dazley, MD

    Orthopedic Surgery

    Biography

    Justin Dazley, MD specializes in spinal surgery. He has special interest in diseases and conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine due to deformity, trauma, and degenerative causes. Dr. Dazley completed his spinal surgery fellowship at Harvard University-Massachusetts General Hospital/Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

  • Anna P. Hawker, NP

    Biography

    Anna Hawker, FNP is a family nurse practitioner providing specialized care for acute and chronic orthopedic conditions. She works closely with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Tyler McKee in clinical practice, and assists in orthopedic surgeries. She also has special interest in patient education.

    Anna earned her bachelor's degree in nursing, and her master's degree in nursing, family nurse practitioner, from Idaho State University. She is accredited by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

    Rialey M. Hawkes, NP

    Biography

    Rialey Hawkes, NP is a family nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedics. He works closely with Dr. Callahan in the outpatient clinic, and also enjoys the privilege of helping  him during surgeries as a certified first assistant. Prior to his work in orthopedics, Rialey gained experience working in both the emergency department and operating room.

    Rialey grew up in Idaho. He earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Weber State University and a master's degree in nurse practitioner studies from Walden University. He is accredited by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

He completed his residency in surgery and orthopedics at the Mayo Clinic and completed a sports medicine fellowship in Lake Tahoe, CA.

  • Jedediah May, MD

    Jedediah H. May, MD

    Orthopedic Surgery

    Biography

    Jedediah May, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in complex total joint arthroplasty of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Skilled in cutting-edge arthroplasty techniques, Dr. May's surgical interests include minimally invasive partial knee replacement, mini posterior and direct anterior hip replacement surgery; complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery; hip preservation surgery; and both primary and reverse total shoulder replacement surgeries.

    After his residency, Dr. May spent a year at the Mayo Clinic doing clinical research in their Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He also completed a year of fellowship training in adult reconstruction and orthopedic trauma surgery at the University of Otago. 

    Dr. May has numerous peer-reviewed journal publications focusing on blood conservation in joint replacement surgery, joint replacement techniques and minimally invasive surgeries to improve patient function and expedite recovery, as well as advanced technologies in joint replacement. 

    Dr. May believes that patients in the Magic Valley should receive the most advanced orthopedic care. "I believe in spending time with each patient, hearing their story and answering questions about their orthopedic problems."

  • R. Tyler McKee, DO

    Orthopedic Surgery

    Biography

    Rohn Tyler McKee, DO treats pediatric, teen, and adult patients. He specializes in arthritis and osteoporosis, and treats all aspects of orthopedics. He performs arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement surgery, sports medicine, and rehabilitation services, and treats trauma and fractures. Dr. McKee earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and completed his internship and residency at Ohio University, Doctors Hospital.

  • Bradley A. Nace, PA-C

    Biography

    Bradley Nace, PA-C, MSPAS is a certified physician assistant who works closely with Dr. Blake Johnson assisting with surgeries and in the office. Bradley’s interests lie in orthopedics, sports medicine and emergency medicine. He has experience working in level 1 and level 2 trauma centers and has worked closely with professional sport teams such as the Reading Phillies (AA baseball) and the Reading Royals (ECHL hockey), as well as teams at colleges and universities.

    Bradley earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Philadelphia University and a master's degree in physician assistant studies from DeSales University. He is associated with the American Academy of Physician Assistants. 

    In his free time, Bradley enjoys, snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, and spending time with his dogs and family.

  • Jason S. Phillips, PA-C

    Biography

    Jason Sea Phillips, PA-C is certified physician assistant who works closely with Dr. Jedidiah May, assisting him in clinic and during surgeries, providing adult reconstruction and orthopedic trauma services to the patients of the Magic Valley and surrounding regions. He has special interest in wilderness medicine and is working toward becoming a fellow in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine through the Wilderness Medicine Society. 

    Jason is currently an adjunct faculty member and clinical instructor at Midwestern University. He is a fellow of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.  

    Originally from Detroit, Jason is a veteran of the United States Army where he was trained as a medic as well as an orthopedic technologist. He received his bachelor's degree in molecular, cellular and developmental biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz and earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University.  

    In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and mixed martial arts.

    Jessica Taylor, PA-C is board certified by the America Academy of Physician Assistants. Her professional interests are orthopedic hand care and plastic surgery. Jessica works alongside Dr. Wayment and is passionate about restoring function and eliminating pain in the hand and wrist for patients. She is involved in all aspects of care from diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation, as well as surgery when necessary. She also finds fulfillment in aiding in surgery and managing post-operative care for plastic surgery patients.  

    Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University. She received a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Idaho State University. 

    In her free time, Jessica loves reading, skiing, and camping and backpacking with her family.

    Dr. Wayment earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University. He performed his general surgery residency at North East Ohio University College of Medicine and went on to specialize in plastic surgery at North East Ohio University College of Medicine, Summa Health System. He completed a hand fellowship at Christine M. Kleinert Institute of Hand and Micro Surgery.
