About Teisha R. Shiozaki

Biography

Teisha Shiozaki, MD is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in advanced gastrointestinal (GI) and minimally invasive surgery. She treats a wide array of abdominal disorders, including gallbladder disease, inguinal and ventral hernias, and disease of the small bowel and colon.

Dr. Shiozaki has special interest in robotic surgery and using minimally invasive techniques to improve surgical outcomes. She is skilled in the performance of robotic surgery for hernias, diverticulitis, and bowel obstructions. Her robotic procedural expertise includes cholecystectomy; colectomy; colostomy reversal; and inguinal, ventral and hiatal hernia repair.

In her free time, Dr. Shiozaki enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors.
