St. Luke’s Antimicrobial Stewardship Program emphasizes a multidisciplinary team approach that focuses on improving patient outcomes through rational and systematic guidance to antimicrobial utilization. This means selecting the right antimicrobial agent at the right dose, for the appropriate duration to prevent and cure infection while reducing risk of adverse effects and antimicrobial resistance.
