Community-supported agriculture (CSA) is a great way to buy fresh, seasonal food directly from a local farmer. You purchase a “share” or subscription that allows your farmer to purchase seeds and supplies. Then you pick up your share of fresh vegetables each week throughout the growing season. The farmer usually chooses which in-season items are in your bag.
