During this one night class, you’ll learn all of the basics and “how tos” of caring for your newborn. We’ll cover comforting, diapering, bathing, feeding, cord care, and sleeping. We’ll also discuss immunizations, circumcision for boys, jaundice, and car seats. A guest physician will drop by for a portion of the class to answer any of your baby care questions.
Prepare physically and emotionally for breastfeeding.
Are you puzzled by your child’s car seat? Do you know if you have installed the seat properly? At our free car seat safety checks, St. Luke’s NHTSA-certified car seat technicians will answer your questions and individually evaluate your car seat for proper installation, use, and recall status. A complete car seat inspection takes approximately 20 minutes per seat.
