This group meets every Monday. (Please arrive between 6-6:30 p.m. and stay until 7:30 p.m.)
Registration is not required. For information, please call (208) 205-7329.
During this one night class, you’ll learn all of the basics and “how tos” of caring for your newborn. We’ll cover comforting, diapering, bathing, feeding, cord care, and sleeping. We’ll also discuss immunizations, circumcision for boys, jaundice, and car seats. A guest physician will drop by for a portion of the class to answer any of your baby care questions.
This class is designed for expectant parents and helps you and your partner prepare physically and emotionally for breastfeeding. We’ll build your confidence by offering support for getting started, as well as solutions for common problems and advice on family adjustments and nutrition.
St. Luke’s NHTSA-certified car seat technicians will evaluate your car seat for proper installation, use, and recall status.
