St. Luke’s Breast Cancer Detection Center: McCall

Today’s women lead increasingly busy lives. Even so, it’s important to take time out for routine breast cancer screening, because all women are at risk. At this facility, St. Luke’s provides 3D mammography, clinical breast examination, and education in order to identify cancer at its earliest, most treatable stage.

The American Cancer Society recommends that every woman age 40 and older have an annual mammogram. This screening test can identify changes in the breast that may be early signs of cancer, but are too small or subtle to be felt. Our McCall site also offers diagnostic services, if recommended, after your initial screening.

Specialties

A full spectrum of services, including mammography, genetic counseling, cancer care, and emotional support.

Procedures & Treatments

  • An X-ray of the breast used to screen for breast cancer. Mammograms can find tumors that are too small to feel.
  • Additional testing, including diagnostic mammography and ultrasound, when screening mammograms indicate a need for follow-up.
