St. Luke’s Canyon View provides inpatient psychiatric care for adults 18 and older, including those with complex medical or social needs. We treat a wide range of serious mental health conditions, including mood, psychotic, personality, substance use, and neuropsychiatric disorders. All admissions follow Idaho and federal statutes.

Canyon View is a free-standing, secure facility. Telephones are available for patient use. Our campus is tobacco- and drug-free (nicotine replacement therapy is available).

Including a psychiatrist, advance practice clinician, psychiatric RN, social worker, case manager, patient advocate, occupational therapist and hospitalist.

Experts in nutrition, physical therapy, vocational rehabilitation, integrative medicine, neuropsychological testing, chaplaincy, and more per care plans.

Patients will experience a mix of group and individual meetings, meals, and time with visitors. A schedule of activities is posted in the nursing station each day.

Visitation may be limited or canceled at the discretion of the treatment team.
To ensure the safety and comfort of all patients, all visitors are screened upon entry to Canyon View. This includes a search of personal belongings to identify any items that may pose a risk. A full list of prohibited items is posted at the entrance and includes items such as electrical cords, recording devices, glass, cans, belts, nail files, matches, plastic bags, and more.
