In support of the safety of our patients, employees, and providers, starting Friday, March 20, all St. Luke’s acute hospitals, clinics, and clinical facilities are implementing a no-visitor policy. There will be limited exceptions.
For more than 100 years, St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center has been committed to serving the needs of our growing region. Founded in 1902, St. Luke’s Boise is Idaho’s largest health care provider and the flagship hospital of St. Luke's Health System, providing you access to highly skilled specialists, nurses, and staff within a friendly campus designed for healing. Known for clinical excellence, St. Luke's Boise is nationally recognized for quality and patient safety, and proud to be designated a Magnet hospital, the gold standard for nursing care.
Our medical center offers an emergency department, advanced inpatient and outpatient surgery, mother-baby services, diagnostics from x-ray to MRI, state-of-the-art cancer treatment, critical care, a chest pain center, and more. The campus also includes a wide range of primary and specialty physician clinics and St. Luke's Children's Hospital, the only children's hospital in Idaho.
The St. Luke’s Boise/Meridian Community Health Needs Assessment, or CHNA, helps us to better understand the specific health challenges facing the people and families of Ada and Canyon counties. The CHNA allows us to pinpoint, assess, and address our community’s most critical needs. We use that information to develop health improvement programs, provide better care at a lower cost, and define and guide our operational and strategic plans.
