Chest Pain, STEMI, and TIA Center

National Accreditation, Comprehensive Care

St. Luke's Boise and Meridian emergency departments are nationally accredited Chest Pain Centers, where patients whose chest pain is not clearly a heart attack can undergo further monitoring and testing by cardiology and emergency experts.

St. Luke's Boise and Meridian are also STEMI (ST-elevation myocardial infarction) Level I centers as designated by the Idaho State Time Sensitive Emergencies Council.

Our team also monitors and cares for patients with heart failure exacerbation and transient ischemic attack (TIA or “mini-stroke”).
