St. Luke's Rehabilitation: Hailey

At St. Luke's Rehabilitation, our physical and speech therapists provide personalized care after injury or surgery, or when dealing with a chronic condition. We specialize in sports medicine, spine wellness, orthopedics, pelvic health, and pediatrics.

Our treatment programs include ski conditioning; custom foot orthotics; concussion rehabilitation, including ImPACT (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing); cognitive therapy; speech and language therapy; balance and vestibular therapy; arthritis therapy; and neurologic rehabilitation.

    Biography

    Kristin Bevers, PT specializes in the treatment of patients suffering from vestibular dysfunction, balance disorders, and post-concussion syndrome. This includes evaluation and treatment for vertigo, motion sensitivity, visual disturbances/oculomotor impairment, frequent falls, poor balance, concussions, and gait abnormality/instability. 

    Kristin earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from Idaho State University.

  • Occupational Therapy

    Biography

    Kristin Biggins, OTD, OTR/L, CHT, PYT is an occupational therapist, certified hand therapist, and yoga therapist. She specializes in providing preventative, conservative, and post-operative treatment for a variety of upper quadrant diagnoses. In addition, she enjoys working in the realm of occupational medicine, provides ergonomic and work assessments, and ultimate solutions. She incorporates yoga therapy as a modality with appropriate diagnoses in the outpatient setting, and has a passion for treating patients through a health, wellness, and prevention perspective.

    Kristin is an adjunct faculty member at Rocky Mountain University’s doctorate level occupational therapy program. Scholarly activities include writing for a peer-reviewed journal and she has prepared a chapter for a text book on upper extremity therapeutic exercises. 

    Kristin received a doctorate degree in occupational therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She earned a master's degree in occupational therapy from San Jose State University and a bachelor's degree in physical education, athletic training emphasis, from Boise State University.

    Biography

    Jeni Cook, PT specializes in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy with additional specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation. She treats men, women, and children for general orthopedic conditions as well as musculoskeletal pelvic conditions including bowel and bladder incontinence, constipation, prolapse, pre- and post-surgical strengthening, pelvic pain, and pregnancy and postpartum related conditions.  

    Jeni earned a bachelor's degree in physical therapy at the University of Vermont.

    Biography

    Kerri Everett, MS, CCC-SLP, evaluates and treats children and adults in outpatient clinics and within the hospital. She specializes in developmental speech and language delays/disorders, adult neurogenic diseases, traumatic brain injury and concussion (cognitive therapy), stroke, and dysphagia (swallowing disorders). She initiated a group for individuals with Parkinson’s, and implemented a program that offers the modified barium swallow studies necessary to accurately diagnose and treat swallowing disorders.

    Prior to moving to the Wood River Valley, Kerri worked with patients with autism focusing on diagnosis and therapeutic support at home and within the community. She also has experience working in private clinics, schools, and homes. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Idaho and her master's degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Nevada, Reno.

    Biography

    Kacey Fairfield, PT specializes in working with the spine, shoulder, hip, knee, foot and ankle.  She is a Geriatric Certified Specialist (GCS) that advocates successful aging through evidence-based interventions that consider the cellular biology and physiology of this population.

    Kacey earned her master's degree in physical therapy from Idaho State University.

    Biography

    Jesse Foster, DPT, SCS, ATC WCC, specializes in adult and pediatric sports injury, post-op surgical rehabilitation for knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle. He also treats general orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions from headaches to patellofemoral pain as well as spine dysfunction. He has worked at the high school and college level, and has provided sports medicine coverage for Winter X Games and US National Championships for mountain biking. He is also ImPACT Trained Athletic Trainer and is part of the Wood River Valley concussion management team.    

    Jesse earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training and a master's degree in physical therapy at the University of New Mexico. He completed a doctorate degree in physical therapy at Temple University.

    Biography

    Anna Hirnyck, PT, DPT specializes in orthopedic physical therapy in the outpatient setting, with a focus on sports- and recreation-related injuries. She also works as a certified professional alpine ski instructor. She is passionate about incorporating her knowledge from alpine ski education and physical therapy into comprehensive, activity-centered treatments.

    Anna was a collegiate alpine ski and mountain bike racer, and currently participates in community outreach programs related to ski fitness and overall physical health. She earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Utah.

    Biography

    Nancy McDonnell-Penrose, PT focuses on inpatient and outpatient orthopedics, including extremity and spinal conditions, and lumbar and cervical dysfunctions. She also deals with post-operational orthopedics and management of injuries.

    Nancy earned her bachelor's degree from Northeastern University. She has had a varied career working in multiple settings including acute care, outpatient orthopedics and neurological, spine clinics, home health, and pediatrics. She has had the opportunity to work overseas with World Vision in Orphanages in Romania, and has traveled extensively.

    Biography

    Katie Quaglia, PT has a special interest in pediatric physical therapy and outpatient neurologic rehabilitation following brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke. She is especially passionate about working with patients with torticollis, movement disorders, and developmental delay.   

    Katie earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy at the University of Utah.

    Biography

    Linda Reiss, PT has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedic, geriatric, rehabilitation, and acute care in the hospital. She has special interest in a neuro-muscular approach that looks at movement, timing, and sequencing along with strength. She places a strong emphasis on teaching her patients about the body so that they'll not only be involved in resolving current issues, but will also be able to prevent future issues with greater independence. Her philosophy is that improving quality of movement will help decrease pain and increase function.
