Michelle Hurty, PA-C has more than 25 years of experience focusing on internal medicine, endocrinology, and, most recently, bone health. She is passionate about patient education, helping patients navigate and live well with chronic illness and assisting patients to achieve their goals.
Michelle graduated with honors from the physician assistant program at the University of Utah. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Texas. Originally from Maryland, she has called Idaho home for many years.
Aurelia Nelson, MD is board certified in family medicine and has over 25 years of primary care experience. She practices patient-centered care with the belief that everyone has his or her own unique values and preferences.
Dr. Nelson has transitioned to palliative care, which allows her to continue her passion for assisting patients and families with health care decisions and giving emotional support and physical comfort for optimal quality of life.
Dr. Nelson is originally from South Carolina, where she earned her undergraduate degree from Clemson University.
Melinda N. Taylor, BA, BSN, MSN, FNP-C works in palliative and supportive care. She is nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her nursing background includes orthopedic surgery, inpatient medical-surgical care, clinical trial research, and oncology.
Melinda earned bachelor's degrees from both Boise State University and Ohio University. She earned her master's degree from Xavier University. Melinda presented a poster abstract on earlier palliative care integration in oncology settings at the 2019 Oncology Nursing Society national conference. She’s also represented the Oncology Nursing Society in advocacy for cancer patients at the United States Congress.
