Dr. Barton is a native Texan and was raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He received his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from the University of Texas – Houston. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma. He obtained additional training in hepato-pancreato-biliary and advanced GI surgery at the Mayo Clinic.
Annie Campbell PA-C is a board certified physician assistant experienced in bariatric and general surgery. She has worked in laparoscopic, robotic, and revisional surgery. It has been her life's work to assist patients in improving their health through weight loss, and those patients inspire her daily.
Annie earned her bachelor’s degree and master's degree in physician assistant studies both from Idaho State University. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, hiking, painting, and spending time with family.
Hazen T. Herzog, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant experienced in advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures. He also has extensive experience in general and bariatric surgery. He is especially encouraging to his patients confronting obesity and the courage they show as they face surgery.
Hazen earned his bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of Utah and his master of physician assistant studies from the University of Utah School of Medicine. In his free time he enjoys fishing, mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with his family.
Jason Kemp, MD specializes in advanced laparoscopic surgery, including a variety of bariatric and general surgical procedures. He completed additional training in advanced laparoscopic surgery with Dr. Thomas R. Huntington at St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center.
Dr. Kemp’s expertise covers bariatric surgeries including laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy; anti-reflux surgery; paraesophageal and hiatal hernia repair; stomach, small bowel, and colon surgery; gallbladder surgery; hernia repair; and other advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures. Dr. Kemp is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
Misty Neisen, PA-C specializes in post-surgical care of general and bariatric surgery. She is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.
Misty earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Boise State University and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Idaho State University. She is an avid outdoors person, and loves biking, hiking, and rafting in Idaho with her family.
