As certified nurse-midwives, we also specialize in family planning and birth control, breast exams, menopausal care, STD testing, and more.

Davis Katseanes, MD specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), with special interest in minimally invasive surgery, including total laparoscopic hysterectomy. He performs ablations; annual exams, including Pap smears and lab work; assists with fertility and family planning; menopausal care; and urogynecology. He particularly enjoys helping bring new babies into the world. Dr. Katseanes delivers babies at St. Luke's Meridian.
Dr. Katseanes is originally from the Boise area and enjoys spending time with his wife and family. His personal interests include triathlons, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors.
Tasha Parker, MSN, CNM has a passion for empowering and educating women about their options for childbirth and health and wellness throughout their lives. She delivers babies at St. Luke's Meridian and will also deliver at St. Luke's Nampa when the new birthing suites open in October 2017.
Tasha earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Lincoln University in Missouri and her master’s degree in nursing/nurse midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. She has worked in women’s health her entire career as a labor and delivery nurse, case manager, and outpatient OB-GYN nurse. She worked as a nurse-midwife and preventive/public health advanced practice nurse in South Carolina before moving to Boise.
Helene Reusser, MSN, CNM has professional interests in physiologic birth and the care of menopausal women. She believes in evidence-based care, and that women have options in birthing and support in labor. Helene delivers babies at St. Luke's Meridian and will also deliver at St. Luke's Nampa when the new birthing suites open in October 2017.
Helene says of her practice philosophy that, "Women have a right to respectful, individualized care in a supportive environment. Our job as nurse-midwives is to provide that care while educating our patients so they can make informed choices. As a CNM, I strive to give women the birth they want, whether that is low-tech and non-interventive or supporting women who desire epidural anesthesia."
Helene earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Boise State University, her bachelor's degree in nursing from Seattle University, and her master’s degree in nurse midwifery from the University of Utah. After graduate school she moved to Rexburg, Idaho, and practiced as a nurse-midwife in conjunction with a physician. After years of attending births and caring for women in eastern Idaho, she moved to Boise to work as a nurse-midwife at St. Luke's.
Tamara Rolan, MSN, CNM provides care throughout pregnancy and childbirth, and general well-woman services. She has special interests and expertise in labor support, teen pregnancy, and women's health. Tamara delivers babies at St. Luke's Meridian and will also deliver at St. Luke's Nampa when the new birthing suites open in October 2017. She feels it's a privilege and an honor to care for women and their families. Tamara says, "I truly believe in the midwifery model of being 'with woman': Every woman has the right to make informed choices and be supported in their pregnancy and well woman care."
Tamara gained experience as a volunteer doula. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her bachelor's degree in nursing from Winston-Salem State University. She completed her midwifery training at Frontier Nursing University.
Kathy Watkins-Brecheen, CNM is a certified nurse-midwife with certifications as a first assistant at cesarean section, ultrasound, and water birth. She is also interested in substance abuse disorders during pregnancy. She delivers babies at St. Luke's Meridian and will also deliver at St. Luke's Nampa when the new birthing suites open in October 2017.
Kathy earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Saskatchewan, and her master's degree in nursing with a midwifery specialty from the University of Utah. She also took a nursing leadership fellowship at Duke University. She is on the American College of Nurse Midwives Ultrasound Education Task Force and is liaison to the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine.
