St. Luke’s Clinic – Diabetes Management and Education
With more than 50 years of combined experience in the management of diabetes and its complications, our team offers comprehensive, quality diabetes care to people of all ages. Our goal is to help you optimize your health and quality of life through education and continued support.
Our nurse practitioners specialize in diabetes care and work in partnership with you and your primary care provider to achieve your best health. And, our diabetes educators and dietitians support you with individual sessions and group classes on topics such as weight loss, exercise, and healthy cooking.
Heidi Houser, NP-C works in diabetes care and management. She specializes in the care of patients (and their families) who have chronic diseases, with a goal to encourage, support, and educate as she helps her patients meet their complex health needs. She earned her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Idaho. She earned her master's degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University, and has completed her national nurse practitioner certification.
Janet Renaldi, NP-C, CDE is experienced in providing diabetes education. She works with patients and their families to help them better understand diabetes management and maintain their health. She earned nursing degrees from the College of Southern Idaho and Idaho State University. She earned her family nurse practitioner degree from Idaho State University.
