St. Luke’s Clinic – Behavioral Health Services: Twin Falls

Our care teams are committed to providing compassionate expertise to patients of all ages. Our clinic includes psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and nurses trained to care for people with issues such as mood disorders (including bipolar disorder and major depression), anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and psychosis.

We also offer comprehensive psychological and counseling services for adults, couples, families, children, and adolescents. We’re here to help you address challenges such as relationship and family concerns, stress, grief and loss, anger management, abuse, depression, and coping with illness and medical conditions. 

Referrals are required for psychiatric services. Referrals are not required for counseling services.

As a member of the National Health Services Corps, we promise to serve all patients. This means we promise to: 

  • Offer discounted fees for qualifying patients
  • Never deny services based on a person’s race, gender, national origin, disability, religion, or sexual orientation
  • Accept insurance, including Medicaid, Medicare, and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

    Biography

    Jacqueline Bell, DO specializes in addressing the full range of emotional and behavioral difficulties affecting children and adolescents using the latest therapies and interventions. She has experience working with youths affected by a wide range of behavioral and emotional disturbances.

    Dr. Bell is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and American Osteopathic Association.

    Biography

    Luke Brewton, MD is a board certified child psychiatrist and specializes in treating anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and other mood and thought disorders in children, adolescents, and their families. He loves helping adolescents and their families communicate better with one another.

    Dr. Brewton earned his bachelor's degree in neuroscience from New York University and is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

    Biography

    Trevor Crapo, LCSW specializes in the treatment of complex trauma, childhood attachment disorders, and process addictions. He has worked as a clinical supervisor at an outpatient mental health clinic, maintained a small private practice, and facilitated an intensive outpatient treatment program for individuals with compulsive behaviors.

    Trevor earned his master’s degree in social work from Walla Walla College.

    Christopher Edwards, PhD ABPP is a licensed psychologist who provides psychological evaluations for children and adolescents. His interests include the diagnosis and treatment of children with learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, reactive attachment disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder.

    Because of his own military background, he has a special interest in working with veterans and their family members to address their unique issues. He is also interested in the development of behavioral healthcare programs within rural communities. He has worked in various practice settings including the military healthcare system, therapeutic wilderness treatment, and private practice.

    Brieann Emfield, LCPC specializes in acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. She is also a trained play therapist. Brieann uses mindfulness and experiential techniques in her work with children, adolescents, and adult clients; and assists clients in addressing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, defiance, ADHD, and trauma work.

    Brieann earned her master’s degree in counseling from Idaho State University.

    Biography

    Millie Gaitan-Gonzalez, LCSW provides counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults in English and Spanish. Her focus is on cognitive behavioral therapy methods, and acceptance and commitment therapy methods to help individuals with trauma, depression, suicidality, self-injury, anxiety, and substance use disorders. She has experience working with immigrant and refugee individuals and in providing inpatient mental healthcare for adults.

    Millie earned her master’s degree in social work from Boise State University.

    Katelyn Gilbert, MMS, PA-C provides psychiatric care to children and adolescents, and has experience practicing psychiatry in inpatient and outpatient settings. 

    Katelyn earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Idaho State University, and her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University.

    Joshua Hutchinson, LCSW has many years of diverse experience in mental health. He specializes in infant mental health and child development (0 to 5 years), addiction recovery, depression, stress and anxiety management, and leadership development.

    Zach Morairty, MD practices adult and geriatric psychiatry, with an emphasis on late life depression, dementia, and memory problems. He is also experienced in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). As medical director of adult services at St. Luke’s Clinic – Behavioral Health Services, he works closely with local physicians to provide a collaborative approach to physical and mental healthcare.

    Jeremiah Neibling, PMHNP-BC is board certified as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who practices adult psychiatry under the supervision of Dr. Zachary Morairty. He provides care for adults of all ages, and has experience in inpatient mental health services. He earned his master’s degree in nursing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

    Samuel Pullen, DO specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness in children and adolescents. His interests include treatment of children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and sleep disorders. He serves as department chair and Eastern Idaho regional medical director over adult and child mental health services.

    Candise Ramsey, LCSW works with families in crisis, victims of domestic violence, and sexual abuse. She enjoys working with children and adolescents, women, and families using trauma-focused treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and brain change therapy.

    Candise earned her master’s degree from Boise State University.

    Benjamin Saxey, PA-C specializes in adult mental health and practices in an outpatient setting. 

    Ben earned his master's degree in physician assistant studies from Idaho State University and performed his clinical rotations at St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center and other local medical offices.

    Christina Scanlon, MPAS, PA-C practices child and adolescent psychiatry under the supervision of Dr. Samuel Pullen, and has experience in outpatient psychiatric care for adults and children. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Idaho State University. She completed her training at the Veterans Affairs Inpatient Unit in Salt Lake City.
