Our team sees people of all ages, through all phases of life, whether you need preventive care, treatment for a specific condition or acute illness, or urgent care. We promote the concept of a medical home, emphasizing a continuous relationship with a provider coordinating care for both wellness and illness. We believe that knowing you over many years, and knowing your family, helps us understand how your healthcare impacts your life.

At our clinic, we offer a wide scope of services, including primary care for newborns, children, and adults; management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, and skin problems; immunizations; women’s health; minor procedures including vasectomy, circumcision, skin biopsies, and lesion removal; joint injections; preventive care and wellness counseling; physicals for sports, school, scouts, and camp; and physicals for insurance and employment.

Our symptom checker offers educational information on various conditions, and provides advice regarding home care or first aid, when appropriate, as well as instructions on when you may need to call your provider, call 911, or go to an emergency department. It also offers dosage tables for common over-the-counter drugs.

The information in our symptom checker is designed with patient safety as the highest priority. Each care guide is reviewed by physicians, specialists and nurses for accuracy.

    Kristen Place, PA-C specializes in family medicine with a passion for providing evidence based, preventive medicine to all ages. She also enjoys minor procedures, sports medicine, and women's health.  

    Kristen earned her bachelor's degree from Boise State University and her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Elon University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

    Auston Whitmer, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner providing primary care to all ages. Her professional interests include preventive medicine with emphasis on vaccine advocacy, sports medicine, and chronic conditions. She has experience in acute and chronic management of cardiovascular disease.

    Auston earned her graduate degree from Graceland University’s family nurse practitioner program and is a member of both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners of Idaho.
