Description

Puberty is a time of change for girls—and parents! This four-week series provides a comprehensive overview of the bodily changes and emotional ups and downs that accompany early adolescence. We’ll discuss: 

  • anatomy and physiology of both girls and boys; 
  • relationships with parents and friends; 
  • conception, pregnancy, and birth; and body image and self-esteem.

Experts in adolescent health will address concerns, including factual responses to questions about girls and boys.

Prerequisites

If you or your spouse is an employee of St. Luke's or if you are enrolling more than one child, please call: St. Luke's at 381-9000 to register. $5 for each sibling attending the same class. 100% payment is due at time of registration.

Registration Instructions

Registration is required. Cost is $5 for each additional sibling attending the same class.Please note that if there are less than 5 people enrolled in the class, the class may be cancelled. You will be notified before the class if this occurs. No refunds are given for this class, unless it is cancelled by us or a medical condition prevents you from attending class. Otherwise, you may transfer to another class within six months of the original class date.
