Description

Our lymphatic system is a vital component of the circulatory and immune systems. When the lymphatic system is compromised lymph fluid can collect and cause the potentially debilitating and incurable condition called lymphedema.

Our therapists will explain how injury, illness, and treatment for diseases such as cancer can affect the lymphatic system, and will provide information on reducing risk, managing symptoms, and treatment options.

Presented by Sarah Armstrong, physical therapist and certified lymphedema therapist; and Katie Quaglia, physical therapist and certified lymphedema therapist.
