Description

This series is a total of 20 sessions. Included is an onboarding class, 18 educational classes, and a graduation class. 

The class will meet 2 times a week for 10 consecutive weeks. Class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays. 

The Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) course is a whole-person health program that will help you make long-lasting lifestyle changes. You will learn how to integrate optimal nutrition, exercise, and stress reduction tools into your life. 

The CHIP course includes: 

  • Lab screenings 
  • Biometric measures 
  • Textbook 
  • Workbook 
  • Cookbook 
  • Exercise book 
  • Group discussion and peer support

Prerequisites

Adults who want to improve their health. People with chronic disease or risk factors in particular can benefit. 

Program Cost: $379 If you qualify for a discount, please call to register. 

Discounts include: 

  • $89 for St. Luke's employees and spouses on the St Luke's Select Health Plan and have BMI of 30 or greater -based on a $290 health plan benefit for successful completion of the course. 
  • $89 for St. Luke's Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation patients who are attending or have graduated in the past 12 months.

Coming Back Together

As in-person classes and events at St. Luke's resume, we have new guidelines intended to help keep us all safe and healthy.

1. Registration is required. Registration will help us manage class sizes, which must not exceed room capacity. Please mention any accompanying family or support people in your registration.


2. Masks are required. Facilitators and participants need to wear masks at all times, regardless of your vaccination status. We will provide medical procedural masks at the door.

3. Everyone will need to use hand sanitizer when entering the classroom and after returning from any breaks.

4. We will no longer offer food or beverages. You may bring your own snacks and drinks to be enjoyed on breaks away from the classroom. We encourage you to take them outside and away from others if possible. You may drink your own water in classes lasting longer than an hour, but we you must still wear your mask between drinks.
