Description

This conference will provide a practical and helpful review of clinical concerns facing the primary care provider. Each topic will revolve around a clinical example examining the issues. The presenters will review the initial diagnosis, work-up, and management of particular disease states, and define when a patient needs to be referred for further evaluation.

The environment facilitates discussion and we encourage attendees to ask questions relating to their day-to-day practice.

The Opioid Epidemic

Saturday morning will feature legal and medical perspectives on the opioid epidemic, including presentations from Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kevin Maloney and Darci Ward; DEA Diversion Investigator Charles Wahl; and St. Luke's internal medicine physician Jason Bronner, MD.
