St. Luke's Better Health: Backpack Safety

Backpacks are a convenient way for kids to carry their books and supplies -- but the technology is taking its toll on kids' backs, shoulders, and necks. A recent study shows that more than half of students carry backpacks that are too heavy. In this Better Health segment Janelle Kyllo, a St. Luke's Magic Valley occupational therapist, talks about how parents can make sure their child's backpack doesn't cause harm.
