It Pays to be a Team Leader for FitOne

BOISE – August 23, 2013– There are several ways to get involved with FitOne and by creating or joining a team you instantly save $2on your registration fee. Team leaders are eligible for prizes for the most team members in their category, and awards will be given to team leaders who recruit 25+, 50+, 75+ and 100+ team members. All team awards will be provided by event sponsor, Shu’s Idaho Running Company.

"We are very excited about the upcoming FitOne. We are looking forward to seeing the teams grow this year and providing the prizes. It's a fun time to get your friends and family moving,” said Mike Shuman from Shu’s Idaho Running Company.

Many teams are open for anyone to join, including the St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital Team. To join, select St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital Team from the dropdown menu when you register for either the 5K or 9K. The additional $10 fee to join this team is a direct donation to St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, and qualifies you for a special event shirt.

As an active community partner and the presenting sponsor of FitOne’s Volunteer Program, KeyBank has created a team for current and new KeyBank customers. Participants registering on the KeyBank Team will receive exclusive benefits such as VIP parking near the 5K Start on race day, access to the KeyBank Team VIP Finisher Lounge as well as a Red Carpet KeyBank Team packet pick-up at the FitOne Expo.
