Donate to Santa's Toy Box

BOISE, Idaho - Helping make the holidays a little brighter for St. Luke’s pediatric patients is the goal of the Santa’s Toy Box. The holiday program allows families in need, whose children are being treated at St. Luke’s, the opportunity to choose new toys and gifts for their children. Santa’s Toy Box is supported solely through donations. All donations can be dropped off at the pediatrics desk on the fourth floor of St. Luke's Boise Medical Center. Child Life Santa’s Toy Box Wish List
Items We Can Accept:
  • $10 to $20 gift cards from places such as Target, Old Navy, Barnes and Noble, Hastings, Wal-Mart (Please make cards non-holiday themed so they can be used throughout the year)
  • iTunes music cards
  • New toys, books and games (see list of appropriate suggestions below)
  • Craft kits and materials that are nontoxic
  • Non-violent video games for Wii, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, and Xbox 360 (Ratings should be Everyone through Teen)
  • I Pod touch/I pad
  • Gaming systems
  • Amazon Kindles
  • CD Player/radio
  • Outside sports equipment
  • New DVD movies (English and Spanish)
  • Books on CD
Items We Cannot Accept:
  • Used items such as fabric dolls, stuffed animals, cannot be accepted because of infection control and difficulty cleaning.
  • Food/candy; many of our patients are on special diets.
  • Rubber/latex balloons; latex allergy precautions and hazards of choking.
  • Religious material; because we serve children of various faiths and beliefs
