Student Services

Formative, Positive, Always Learning

In one year, St. Luke’s Student Services helps facilitate about 2,500 rotations for over 2,000 individual students from 50+ unique disciplines resulting in over 333,000 educational hours! To meet student needs for our growing community and the future workforce, we also manage partnerships with about 175 schools from coast to coast, and host students in nearly every department and clinic across our health system. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you to offer formative and memorable student experiences.

Student Experience Steps

  1. Qualify for an experience

  2. Receive approval from your St. Luke's student coordinator and/or your school coordinator.

  3. Complete onboarding by your assigned deadline.

  4. You're ready! Welcome to St. Luke's. While here, you'll need to keep your Talent Learning Center account up-to-date.

  5. Conclude your student experience by returning your St. Luke's student ID badge and completing our survey. We value your perspective and your feedback will help us better serve future students.

  6. Visit our careers page to learn more about potential opportunities to join St. Luke's. Every year, hundreds of new graduates join our organization!

Information and Resources

For Observers

Due to high demand for clinical experiences, observations are only available for students that are required to observe in order to apply for an educational program. For example, pre-medical students are required to observe before applying to medical school.

For Students

Our team works diligently and creatively to offer access to a variety of educational and professional development opportunities throughout our health system.

For School Faculty

With the intent of fostering a mutually beneficial and meaningful experience for all involved, our guidelines outline expectations for instructors during their time at St. Luke's.

Onboarding includes an online orientation through St. Luke’s Talent Learning Center, and may include in-person trainings depending on your discipline or rotation site.
