Our Junior Volunteer Program is for young adults ages 16-18 who want to make a difference in their community through service at St. Luke’s. When you become a Junior Volunteer, you’ll gain valuable experience in a hospital environment, develop customer service and leadership skills, and learn to take on responsibility while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.

Applications are available the first Monday in November of each year. A limited number of applications are available and fill quickly.

The St. Luke's Junior Volunteer Program cannot successfully accommodate new volunteers past their junior year of high school due to limited time and opportunities.

Junior volunteers are cross trained in various service areas, including visitor support, mother/baby unit, pediatrics, surgery waiting, recovery room, the emergency department and special projects.
