St. Luke’s Center for Community Health provides a variety of community health services for every stage of life, from childbirth and parenting to healthy aging. We offer health screenings, educational programs, and other services tailored to meet our community’s unique needs.

Information and Referral
Connecting people to local health and mental health providers, social service agencies, government agencies, emergency services.
Health Promotion and Wellness Education/Brown Bag Series
Health education talks and health screenings (including depression, cholesterol, blood pressure, hearing, skin cancer, Feria de Salud) aimed at promoting health and preventing illness; aerobics classes.
Birth and Parenting Initiatives
Childbirth Education, breastfeeding support, Super Sitter Seminar and parenting classes on a variety of topics. Includes our Girl World program and puberty classes for parents and youth.
Support Groups
Our staff facilitates a variety of support groups, and participation in these groups is free. Groups include Mujeres Hispanas/Hombres Hispanos, New Mom’s Group, and the Breast Cancer Networking and Information Group.
YAK! (Youth Adult Konnections!)
A healthy youth development initiative providing opportunities for youth and adults to partner and to increase the number of Developmental Assets possessed by youth in the Wood River Valley. More Information.
Emergency Services
Non-perishable food, financial, and mental health referrals and assistance. The Center also co-administers the Ketchum-Sun Valley Ministers’ Association Fund. This is an emergency fund that can be used to assist payment of rent, medication, counseling, medical care, lodging, etc.
Community Action and Development
Center staff are involved with a variety of community-based organizations working together in creating a healthy, safe community. These include: Blaine County Interagency Council, The Advocates for Survivors of Domestic Violence, Teen Pregnancy Task Force, and the Blaine County Community Drug Coalition.
