Cancer Care
Spiritual Care Services

The Spiritual Care staff is an integral part of the health care team at St. Luke's MSTI, and can help you in a variety of ways, depending on your needs.

  • Helping you contact your pastor or church. Your pastor, priest, or rabbi, is always welcome at St. Luke's MSTI.
  • Sharing problems, concerns, fears, and questions.
  • Providing the comfort of the Sacraments (Baptism, Holy Communion, Anointing).
  • Assisting you in making difficult decisions.
  • Praying with you and for you.
  • Providing a liaison with other health team members.
  • Mostly, being a reminder of God’s love and caring presence in your life at this time.

St. Luke's chaplains do not represent a specific congregation or denomination, but are available to you at all times regardless of your religious background. To contact a chaplain:

  • Ask your health care provider. He or she will be happy to contact us.
  • Call the Pastoral Care Office at 381-2100 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. to request a visit.
  • After 5 pm, call 381-2222.

Chapel Services

St. Luke's chapel is located on the first floor of St. Luke's Boise Medical Center. It is an oasis of peace and prayer and is always available to patients, families and support persons, and staff. Come whenever you need a quiet place to think, pray, or cry; or come simply to enjoy its beauty and rest in God's presence.

There is also a meditation chapel at St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center. Chaplain services at our Nampa and Twin Falls sites are also available through affiliated medical centers.
