St. Luke’s MSTI Receives National Cancer Research Award

St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) has been chosen as one of only 12 practices in the country to receive the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2006 Clinical Trials Participation Award. The award was presented in recognition of St. Luke’s MSTI’s important contributions to improve the care of people with cancer through participation in clinical trials. ASCO is the world’s leading professional organization representing physicians of all oncology subspecialties who care for people with cancer.

Dr. Thomas Beck, St. Luke’s MSTI medical director, accepted the award at the 2006 ASCO Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, June 3, 2006.
