Spiritual Care

"Fear not for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God..." (Isaiah 41:10)

How We Serve You

The Spiritual Care staff is an integral part of the patient care team at St. Luke's. Our chaplains are available to help in a variety of ways.

  • Providing spiritual care and counseling for patients, family, and staff
  • Helping patients contact their own clergy or church
  • Listening to and counseling as patients share problems, concerns, fears, and questions
  • Providing the comfort of the Sacraments (baptism, Holy Communion, anointing)
  • Assisting in making difficult decisions
  • Praying with and for our patients
  • Helping serve as a reminder of God's love and caring presence

St. Luke's Chapels are open to everyone for private prayer, as well as worship provided by our staff. The chapels are open 24 hours a day. Devotional materials are available in the chapel, and can be brought to patient rooms. To request sacred scriptures and other devotional materials, contact the Spiritual Care office.
