Breast Care Services

A full continuum of specialized breast care services are available to women at MSTI, including:

• Screening at one of our Breast Cancer Detection Centers or mobile mammography unit. Risk evaluation and genetic screening/counseling, if appropriate.
• Diagnosis at St. Luke's Center for Breast Imaging
• Treatment
• Rehabilitation services
• Emotional and psychosocial support for patients and loved ones
• Referral services to community agencies, prosthetic and cosmetic vendors, etc.
• Educational resources and classes for patients, families and/or support persons, staff and the community
• Financial counseling
• Nutritional counseling
• Home care services
• Patient resource center
• Multidisciplinary pretreatment planning conferences

Our goal is to assure access to appropriate services. We focus on a smooth coordination of care and clear communication between health professionals and patients.
