SLMVMC is southern Idaho's primary provider for inpatient and outpatient surgical services. Approximately 650 surgeries are performed each month at SLMVRMC. Specialty procedures include:

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

MVMC features a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit where specially trained staff provide care to critically ill patients.

Transitional Care Unit

Our 20-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU) is licensed as a skilled nursing facility for patients who may still need 24-hour nursing care or short-term rehabilitation.

Here is a picture of our patient rooms in our Medical and Surgical Units, 2nd and 3rd North floors. These rooms are equipped with special equipment to care for patients recovering from surgery or other serious medical conditions.
