Spiritual Care
How We Serve You
The Spiritual Care staff is an integral part of the patient care team at St. Luke's. Our chaplains are available to help in a variety of ways.
- We offer spiritual care and counseling for patients,
family and staff; help patients contact their own clergy
or church; listen to and counsel as patients share problems,
concerns, fears and questions; provide the comfort of the
Sacraments (baptism, Holy Communion, anointing) and assist
in making difficult decisions. We pray with and for our
patients, and help serve as a reminder of God's love and
caring presence.
- The St. Luke's Chapels are open to everyone for private
prayer and corporate worship provided by our staff. Devotional
materials are available in the chapel and can be brought
to patient rooms upon request.
- The chapels are open 24 hours a day. Requests may be made for sacred scriptures (Bibles, devotional materials, etc.) through the office at the Spiritual Care Department.
