Magnetic Resonance Imaging
(MRI and Open MRI)

Magnetic resonance imaging uses magnets, radio waves and computers to create extremely detailed pictures or “images” of your internal organs and structures. Because MRI lets your doctor see inside your body from any angle with great clarity, it provides a wealth of diagnostic information more quickly and easily than previous tests and exploratory surgeries.

An Open MRI provides more comfort during the examination for patients that may be claustrophobic, or have other special needs. The low extra wide paddedpatient table helps you feel more secure. The spacious patient opening gives you a clear view of the entire room, to help reduce anxiety and to ensure that your MRI technologist can easily see you at all times.
